- The MCAP Construction & Development (“MCAP C&D”) team brings decades of knowledge and experience in planning and overseeing the rehabilitation and expansion of real estate investments. These in-house professionals have served as developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and owners’ representatives throughout their respective careers, developing residential, seniors, healthcare, educational, commercial, and industrial real estate.
- In its senior living investments, the MCAP C&D team’s efforts have focused on enhancement of service offerings, capacity expansion, unit conversions to meet market demand, and modernizing accommodations and amenities. These investments have significantly enhanced the positioning of the properties and reduced our portfolio’s average effective age.
- The MCAP C&D team has over 160 years of construction and development management experience and has completed over $160 million of capital improvements at MCAP properties. In excess of 80 projects were completed through 2023, primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
