Kevin W. Willis
Senior Vice President, Development
Kevin W. Willis is Senior Vice President of Development for the MCAP Funds. Mr. Willis supervises MCAP’s development staff, planning and coordination of development and procurement strategies. Prior to joining MCAP in 2019, he served as Senior Vice President of Construction & Development at MCAP’s former affiliate, Commonwealth Senior Living (“CSL”). Previously, he was a consultant to CSL on a variety of projects since CSL’s founding in 2002. Mr. Willis has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with a broad operations and management background, including performing the roles of General Contractor, Subcontractor, and Owner’s Representative.
Mr. Willis previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia, and is a former President of the Virginia Construction Industry Educational Foundation. He has also served as a member of the Piedmont Virginia Community College Construction Academy Advisory Board, and as a volunteer with the Building Goodness Foundation. Mr. Willis received an MBA from James Madison University and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
